“A Murder Most Fowl” is a card game that I’m designing. It’s based on another card game called “Mafia”. In this game, players draw different cards and must take on the roles that the cards prescribe. I designed the branding system for it, and I am working on adding new characters, roles, and mechanics.
In the small town of Minden, Louisiana, a park is being built, called Miller Quarters Park. I worked with the city of Minden, Louisiana, to help design some branding to promote the park. The target audience These were the concepts I presented to the Webster Parish Tourism Commission.
A progressive rock band, named Corona, needed a design for their new album, called “Towards One Ideal”. I started with a small, square AI image for the base of this painting, but after about 30 hours of work, I turned it into something that would embody the feeling of their new album.
I created two alphabets, via experimenting with analog methods. One is a new take on Helvetica Neue, and the other is just a freestyle font, not based on anything in particular. I hand-carved stamps for my Helvetica alphabet, and I shaped cookie dough and baked it in order to create my second alphabet.
The City of Ruston commissioned Louisiana Tech University to create some trail signs for a local walking path, called the Rock Island Greenway. I was hired to be one of the illustrators on this project. I have done four illustrations for a sign about pollution, and another set of illustrations is in the works for a sign about physical health.
It is exceedingly common for visual artists to develop carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), due to the repetitive wrist motions that come with drawing, sculpting, typing, and so forth. I created a poster campaign that will be implemented around Louisiana Tech University’s School of Design, as well as some other parts of campus. (The posters can be customized to target computer scientists, architects, musicians, etc.) I created the illustrations and designs for the posters.
